Education and Certification for the home and business personal property inventory industry are the main functions of the National Inventory Certification Association, providing opportunities to meet our members’ and non-members’ needs as the industry continues to grow. The Continuing Professional Education (CPE) program is designed to provide a solid foundation of knowledge within this inventory service industry. This helps to ensure the opportunity for those who want to establish themselves as professionals by committing to lifelong learning.
The NICA leadership team chose to focus not only on industry-specific courses but on professional and personal growth as well. Other topics that are relevant to small service industry businesses, such as Customer Service, Networking, and Time Management are also included in the curriculum. Each course taken provides Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to assist members and non-members to achieve and maintain their designation(s).
All courses are offered in an online, self-paced format to fit into your busy schedule. Each CPE course completed by a member is documented by the Association as earned Continuing Education Units, which are applied toward certification. The relevant courses also assist certified members as they continue to learn and achieve the annual requirement of CEUs to maintain their designation(s).
Continued professional development is an initiative for business owners to reach and retain a level of expertise. The Courses page includes descriptions of each of these educational opportunities, and the Certification page provides the requirements to achieve and maintain your certification. Due to the courses and certification exam all being online and immediately available upon purchase, we are unable to provide a refund.
